life long friends

So the world keeps turning ...my good friend Joan and her husband leave this week for Seattle.. they've had a few set backs ..She had the remainder of her lymph nodes removed from her arm and a drain able temporary catheter put in on Thurs. and then they leave this week they'll be gone for 2 years she'll begin her chemo therapy in Seattle.she's also been diagnosed with diabetes and now arthritis in her back..as my Mom used to say "it sucks getting old" Soo too those of you in your 30's and 40's enjoy.... because once you hit your 50's be ware ...life is going to sneak up on you and kick you in the pants.... and knocks you for a major loop...with endless drs appointments.....My prayers go with them we've known each other for over 18 years... they are more than good friends.... they're family

prayers please

My husband is the king of tactlessness...after he got in last night/this morning (1:00 AM)he tells me that our good friend Joan (her husband is one of ET's closest friends) has breast cancer, she had a mastectomy on Mon and will undergo chemo treatments..They've been our closest friends since we moved to Huntsville 18 years ago. We've watched each others kids grow up.Their oldest daughter babysat my kids ..I worked with their second born when she subbed at our school. this is rough please keep Joan in your prayers..I know she's strong but still this is a terrible thing for anyone to go through...They were supposed to be be moving in a couple weeks to Seattle for 2 years ..I don't know what they'll be doing now,,, Please again pray for them both
